Welcome to the Lakeshore Radio Association (SE Wisconsin)

***Scroll down this page for more information and the latest newsletter and information posts.

Our history in Wisconsin goes back 50 years and we’ve grown to triple digit membership in recent years with members in 3 countries and 5 US states. We operate two analog Ham Radio VHF/UHF repeater systems covering SE Wisconsin with 3 remote receiver sites. We’ve brought wide area DMR repeater coverage to the area too. Check them out in the pull-down menus above.

Just recently, we’ve merged with the 75 year old Racine Megacycle club, one of Wisconsin’s oldest and they will help to continue building our club’s HF stations and network of HF radios.

We have three remotely controllable FlexRadios, 5 antennas and two locations in our current network.

We’ve recently added Allstar links to our repeaters. That gives us world-wide coverage. Our “Happy Hour” group that meets every day at 5:00pm Central time is your opportunity to introduce yourself. New hams are especially welcome. Our check-ins span 5 continents and multiple countries. Here’s a typical Allstar node “bubble” chart on the “un-net”:

Operating on our systems is a privilege … not a right … so please review our operating rules in the pull-down menu above. They are simply based on common courtesy.

We sincerely hope you decide to become a member (click on the MEMBERSHIP pulldown above to join on-line) and support our operating costs with a small annual donation, but if not, please know that you are always welcome. Our leadership team is always willing to help and answer questions. Contact them at BOARD@KR9RK.COM
